Decent time killer. Not overly addictive because it becomes impossible to beat your own high score. Also what's with the high percentage of vowels?
Decent, free game. Not majorly addictive, but I can see myself returning to this regularly. Recommended. Runs well on SGS2.
I love this game! I have never played a word game so addictive and fun! I would love to see an unlimited mode and a 5 minute mode
@Huawei SONIC love this game, it only needs to (1) have a better, larger dictionary and (2) have a hall of fame, not just save the last best score. Apart from that, perfect!!
I have had Wordoid for a several months and love it. It's such a great game. I can not image it being boring like some of the review claim. The more you play the longer word you find. The only problem is that there is no up-grade.
I have tried many word games as they are my favourite game app. This is the best. There is a knack to getting your score up high (mine is 348 points currently). A great game to play. Would be great to be able to pause it or to save incomplete games and to save say your top ten points.
This is a great game. The one issue I have with it is that it disproportionately adds vowels as the game progresses. I recently ended up with a board that was all A's, I's and O's except for one J.
This is my favorite game. But I just got a new ZTE Max Duo, and it just gets stuck all the time. The timer works, but everything else seems stuck. I'm frustrated. I miss MY game
Pretty descent game :) held my interest long enough to play a full round. Blue on white letters a bit hard 2 read; otherwise pretty good :)
I left a five star review two years ago but with no narrative. I simply love this game and have been using it to unwind for two plus years. Very simple but beautiful design and play. It is my go to game.
Love this game, but HATE, HATE, HATE the advertising. I'm a 33 year old mom and don't want to be looking at nearly naked girls in disgusting positions
Fun & addictive game! Discover new words as you play. Fun way to pass time, esp if your having to wait in a long line or something.
Had to delete this app because it freezes my phone up for a few minutes after i exit out everytime! Love the look & game but hate the aftereffect
Decent game but drains my battery when I play. Also doesn't keep track of scores to compare with others. Doesn't tell you what score is needed for next level. Game installed itself once. Font is a little hard to read. Good potential if they can improve the game in future versions.
A good way to kill some time. Simple and addictive. Wish you could swipe from letter to letter, but all in all it works well. Recommended.
Love game; wish there were Los version!!! PLS!!! Sometimes frustrating when board fills with vowels or all consonants.. That is a flaw but try using as many of those vowels.. Some 3 letter words and the board can repopulate with consonants... Ever since I changed to a Nexus device, the game stops and force closes every time. Condidering there have been no updates, I assume it never will
I play this ALL the time, it's better than any of the others by far. I just wish the dictionary would accept more words. Still, I'm hooked. Wonderful , intelligent time waster.
The best of its type. It looks really fresh and modern on my Nexus 7 with good gameplay. I would, however, like to see a high score table and as noticed by others, too many vowels start appearing after the first few levels
I love this game, but whenever I try to back out to the main screen or if I get an incoming phone call, it locks my phone up for about 30 seconds (and i miss the call). It's a great game and in spite of these problems I still play it. Please fix this issue!!! Giving 3 stars due to lock ups, but if they were fixed I'd give it 5 stars.
JB crashes still not fixed. Slow and laggy. I keep reinstalling hoping that it's fixed, because it's a great game, but uninstall immediately because it's buggy.
Fun twist on a classic word game. Bonus points and changing letters add challenge. Graphics nice, although font could be bolder for easier reading.
It's an amazing game, but something should be added which is " SAVE ". Saving one's level. It's not good to start from the beginning. Just an opinion. Well done & Thanks Sean Wilson.
I would rate this five stars as it works wonderfully on gingerbread, but on jelly bean it crashes on exit almost 100% of the time. On 4.4 on the Nexus 5 it is visually a MESS. Too bad it is abandonware and the developer didn't find a new maintainer to take it on when he got tired of it.
If you could change the font of the letters and the background it may be a better game. It doesn't hold my attention. There are other similar games out there that are better.
It's fun and truly addicting. Just the sound sucks to me when u got a word. The sound is too boring & noob.
Good. Few little things missing... like settings. WordDrop is a much better game with the same basic idea.
Pardon me but if you are going to create a spelling game you should be able to spell! It's "words spelled," not "words spelt." Spelt is a grain! Ugh!
I have installed a number of word apps on my Android phone and iPad, and this is by far the most engaging. Some users may give up too easily, when if you master the game you will be required to earn enough points by developing words, often with virtually either no consonants or no vowels, while racing the two minute clock. The game starts easily enough with a presentation of letters in a grid that resembles a larger digital image of Big Boggle, which I loved as a kid. As you click on various letters in succession to form words, the letters are replaced and points are earned--more for larger words and/or words containing specific bonus point highlighted letter/s. Initially there is a good mix of consonants and vowels and many word combination options but as you advance, the options become more and more slim and you have to employ strategy to keep going and earning more points. I am only disappointed that this app is not available for Apple products as I have not found anything comparable. Most other word apps are limited in functionality and lose my attention almost immediately. Wordoid, by contrast, is completely addictive, tough, and fun. I highly recommend it.
I have an issue, would give 5 stars, IF it. :- A) had a pause button or B) didn't stop working when leaving the game and losing the whole score, it gets VERY annoying
Great game to kill some time. An option to reshuffle the board or fill it with new letters (maybe with a small time penalty) would make this a perfect game. as I once lost because the board filled up with a's.
Was a great game, now the ads take space and are annoying when playing...a 5 star rating down to 1 because of it!!!
I love the game. Unfortunately it crashes a lot. I got in the habit of exiting often so I would only lose a round or two of scores. I'm to the point now I will probably stop playing and maybe even delete it for the frustration. It's supposed to be relaxing... Hope it gets updated and fixed.
Very good game but crashes ALOT, can only play a full game if I dont intend on stopping as will often crash instead of save. If not for that definite 5*
Wordoid is a fun game ......only problem is that the screen is all vowels and too frustrating to play at that point. I would give 5 stars if that would be fixed!
Making words from misc. letters. The bigger the word the more points and the better letters they are replaced with. You are on a timer. If you slow down your time runs out and the game ends. Similar to Scrabble
Been playing this awhile. Really enjoy it but suddenly starting to crash on new galaxy s7. Also, why don't you know "fudge" is a word?
