When I push to see player ratings the menu won't stay up to where I can see it anymore. I can't see player rankings or anything else anymore.
Quick simple fun. Fun until the top ranked [cheating] players come with impossible scores then I leave.
I love this game. Would give 5 stars but for some reason the display is a bit dodgy and messes with my eyes!
Fun way to kill time that I've played a lot of over the last few years. Unfortunately after getting a new larger phone now it's a little difficult to comfortably hold so that I can press the letters near the top of the screen with both hands. Would love if there were an option to move the 'board' of letters down towards the bottom of the screen. Still giving it a 5 based on how much I've played this before.
5 star if junk words like aa are removed. There can also be a version that gives points by number of letters used rather than just counting words.
My son and I play this together on the same home wireless and when in the same game it is not consistently showing our scores. Inaccurate leader board system. Frustrating but otherwise highly addictive.
A Boggle like game against random online players. Because the games are so short it's a great way to spend a few minutes while you're waiting. I like the random opponents but it would be cool if there was also an option to play a closed game with friends.
It's OK at first but it gives you the same puzzles over and over. The letters are just in different positions. The weird thing too is it's always the same names of people in the competition.
** I can shuffle by shaking the phone, but by doing that my fingers lose their position on the word square and I end up losing time. ** You could also add a few theme options, where the user can select a color/background theme.
Bots. They find nearly every word possible, every time they play?! 😏Yeah, right. It's BS. I've been playing this game for several years but the increased use of bots has me playing much less lately and only until I find another game to replace it.
Love the game but can't change settings anymore due to lack of menu on the app itself...play store says WW has been updated for newer android but apparently not for Note 5
Check for yourself. Enter a game. Exit right away and notice a 10 second difference. Also the game ends before the timer. NOTICE: when you have issue with shuffle and the board in general; a player with higher rank but close in rank entered the game. Rigged!
So even if I win a game by 30+ points I still lose? This game used to work - if you won, your rank and score increase. I played two games in a row, won both and still lost points. Fix it!!!
It's annoying that the game ends before the clock runs out. I'm playing and have 7-8 seconds left and it ends with the clock still going. Also, it doesn't recognize "ade" as a word!!
Too many times, a "drag icon" command freezes the screen and interrupts my game. Also, my game ends with sometimes 8 seconds remaining on the timer. Not fair to shut me down while there is time left.
This is my go-to time waster and there is a dedicated community of players that I have come to know. The problem is there is no way to interact with them! The game is in dire need of a chat room, ideally something that players can use in between games or while waiting for an upcoming game. Also the ranking system is easy to manipulate — there are some players who get to 100 and only play once every few hours to keep their name on the scoreboard. A win/loss record would be better. Excellent game otherwise!
I do like this game, but it's very frustrating to end up with a low score because of a glitch in the software. Just did an update in hopes it would fix the problem, but no such luck. Will now try rebooting the phone.
Great game! The only thing I would change is this: At the end of the game, when showing what words could have been made with the available letters, the words that WERE played should be a different color than the words that COULD HAVE been played. In other words, keep the POSSIBLE words red, but make the ACTUAL WORDS PLAYED white (or yellow, or some color other than red). Other than that, the game is perfect.
Fun, challenging, and annoying. I wish I knew how the scores are computed. -----Thanks for the reply. I guess I meant to ask about the RANKING among players. There's an algorithm at play, but I can't figure out what it is. I really enjoy the game even though I don't seem able to make much progress.
