I've been using this with my students virtually and they're loving it. Thank you for creating this app. Nice selection. Would be nice to have a wider variety to choose from.
The only problem I have with this app is the fact you can't rotate and, even though some may consider this cheating, twist at least one of the dice per story. Also, to be able to somehow 'slot' the dice of your choosing into a rough grid that would appear after rolling for easy management (regardless of whether the dice is upside down or not) would be a massively beautiful improvement. Still worth the download though.. I'm expecting hours of fun here :-)
I like the idea but it would be nice to have at least a one word description of each picture on the dice.
I love the ease of use. I also like the star wars dice. Only bad part is the dice will sometimes land on their sides. Wish there was an option to get them to all lay flat.
Great game. My daughter bought the physical dice so I decided to find an app. Now I use it for RPG adventures. Since I'm running a Star Wars dog for the kids those dice were a nice addition.
Fun app! I love physical story dice, so this is a nice alternative for travel. The dice have good images and I like that you can alter the number and which set they come from. I do wish you could easily rotate the dice after you roll them so that they all face up. I do like that they can be moved around though; I find that helps with storytelling Great app!
I love the idea, and I hope you continue to build on it. :3 I would love to see other genre dice, and a way to lock dice you would like to keep would make this even better.
The only thing I don't like about this app is when I went from kids to Star Wars I lost my sound I can't get the sound back
It would be great if you could reroll individual dice, rather than the whole set. PS: can we see a set of fantasy dice as well?
Captures a lot of the fun of real life Rory's Story cubes. The mystery and star wars additions are super cool.
Great stuff and with the Star Wars dice cool for this Auld Geek. The dice can be repositioned, but not rotated to show them "rightsideup", which made it tricky with my 3 year old nephew. . . at least without knocking them.
Well it would be nice to know what the icons stand for, be able to save the desired icons for the storyline the the writer is trying to make.
I like how you can shuffle them around, and the fact that they can appear at different angles. The graphics aren't my style as I prefer minimalism, but I recognize the effort and it turns out to be more useful than just flat images on a screen.
Have used story dice before but not on an app. This is a great idea. Some more categories would be nice. Pics for fairy stories, science fiction and seasonal stuff like Christmas, Easter etc
Simple, free, ads don't get in way. Max dice leads to lots of ones displaying multiple sides, but that just makes it more interesting.
