Mastered all packs except the sports pack. Gave up and bought the mega hints. Some of the answers in the sports Pack don't have enough letters for the answer blocks. I've come across at least three. (For instance, in volley girl, the last answer has 6 spaces, but only 5 letters. If you pick give up, the answer is revealed as joust_ with an empty space at the end.) Fix this glitch!
I don't like a bunch of games on my phone but like to have at least one for those times you find yourself wishing you'd have brought a book along. It's challenging enough (yet you can skip a puzzle if you're not feeling so bright at the moment). I LIKE the simple layout, takes up less resources and just focuses on the puzzle. They say, "in app purchases", yet (maybe since I don't play it all the time and can wait) they've given me freebies. I'm happy to have this as my ONE game.
Clue as to categories very vague. I am trying to complete the anatomy category and finding it difficult and I was a medical transcriptionist.
Awesome app, very satisfying game to play because of the high level of difficulty. Please put out a music pack!! Let me know if you need help!
This is less of a word game and more of a figure-out-what-the-vague-theme-of-each-puzzle-is game. Once you figure out the theme, it is easy to solve. The words themselves are simple and in your everday vocabulary. But be prepared to be frustrated because some of the themes take a lot of scratching of the head to understand. Oh, and the shake-to-shuffle feature is too sensitive. It's good to have, but moving slightly mixes up the letters which could mess up your concentration.
I like this app. Makes you really think instead of giving you easy answers! I'm not easily purchasing apps but this one is definitely worth it!
Want to play? YOU'RE GONNA PAY. They give you some OBSCURE CATEGORY LIKE MATERNAL FLAVORINGS and if you can't get it you get 1 free clue. After that, clues cost a buck. HEY DEVELOPERS, if your game is good, you'll make enough money sell in the game. No need to SOAK us!
Some of the titles of individual puzzles are a tad too cryptic to know what answers you're looking for (eg "salad days" - are you looking for salad ingredients, specific salad types, or something else entirely?), but generally they can be understood. Finding the 1st word under each title is the hardest, because there are the letters of all 3 answers all jumbled up, but once you figure out one answer, the 2nd is less difficult and of course the 3rd is easiest. There are many genres and levels to play and although some can be solved in a matter of seconds, most can really get your mind working overtime! Great fun for a brain workout - for those who love word-based puzzles. Kudos to the developers. Oh - and if you want more than one-letter hints, it's only a one-time payment of 99c to unlock the "mega-hint" and "I-give-up" feature for all levels. Thanks, developers! ♡
It's a fully paid version except for movies. It will not increase your IQ, on the other hand, it will disturb your brain..
Why is it I cannot purchase new rounds. Says I have an older version but I cannot upgrade. Please fix
I spent some cash on the mega hint because the sport pack seemed impossible and guess what, it is! The give up option shows that many words don't fill all the spaces so you'll never get credit for completing the game. The designers really need to correct this awful mistake, I shouldn't have to spend my money to discover the glitches in the game. Other than that this game is solid and a challenge worth taking on!
But the layout is pretty bland. And some clues are super obvious, but some seem rather vague. But I nitpick. It's not a bad game at all.
