I bought this for my 5 year old after using the free trial for for about a month. My son really liked it so I decided to upgrade to the full version. I highly recommend this app for children under 6 (or under 5 if your child is more advanced) as older kids will probably get bored with it. It has 6 different very interactive games. Every time a game is completed the child earns a part to make a toy to put in the garage. After completing the 6 games the toy will be complete and the child gets to pick a new toy to assemble. There are about 10 different toys to pick from. Like I said, my son loves it! However, I found it a little disappointing to find out there is only one level to this game. My son has completed all toys about a dozen times and the vocabulary does not appear to increase. He keeps doing the same words over and over. I would gladly give it 5 stars if it had different levels with an increased vocabulary to really make it attractive for children older than 5.
I am disappointed! The game is amazing and my niece love that she has the challenge of building something. But I payed for the full version and it has limited amount of games...this is not cool and can be played out in a few hours.
Wonderful game for kids learning to read. My grandson, age 5, loves it and it learning to sound out words with it.
Not very good. As other reviews say, it is limited on games which really isnt that big of a deal. My concern is, I paid for the full version and it went from words like ant, bat, cat and dog to things like hen and log. How is a kid going to learn when they have not practiced these words. First 3 games are very useful because they have a chance to sound the words out, not the same for the others
Both of my kids are in love with this app! My daughter is going into 1st grade and excelling with it. My son just finished pre-k and it's a little advanced for him but he loves it anyway.
Once all the toys are built, there is nothing else for my son to do on the app.. And he doesn't want to rebuild all of them again.
would have given it a 5 star but for the full version which i have paid for but i still dont have it. Please fix this then i will rate properly. In all the app is great for my 3yr old
free version was great for his age and about real basic phonics. The minute I purchased, he was suppose to know first grade stuff? Deceptive.
I just paid for the full version but it wont unlock the rest of the toys to build!!!! very upset. want this fixed or a refund immediately!
They should update it though I bought it a while back and my son did everything and there is nothing else to do it should have more stages
My three year old is reading everything, works well if your child has the phonics foundation already.
My sons really like this game. There are loop holes to get the answer which my son easily figured out but when I sit with him it can be used as a great educational tool.
I downloaded this game two days ago for my preschooler. I just bought the full version as he loves it and it is easy for him to use!
It is one of the best app to help ur child learn read phonetically. I searched and tried multiple app and my search came to a halt here. How a word pronounces slowly & then properly, kid learn that way. My 4 yr old son started reading 3-4 letter words even before we could taught at home or in school. I tried intellijoy other apps after it and finally I bought lifetime version of it as all the app in lite version were very good. No loud music/light but still attractive & educational enough 4 kid
Most of the games are fun and teach phonics in a fun way. The keys in the rocket game are slow to respond and sometimes my son ends up " losing" even though he had correct answers as he runs out of time. Wish you'd add a game where the toad could play on some of the toys the child builds, as it'd be a nice "reward" as opposed to just collecting toys in the garage/ yard but not " playing with" them. A good phonics game and I appreciate that no adds for shooter games or other inappropriate content pops up, so it's safe for a 4 year old.
My daughter loves it she is learning to read and therefore we love it too.. keep up the good work thanks
Best beginning reading app I have found. I also think the full app is money well spent. My boy loves it.
