I just discovered this and I absolutely love it. It is perfect. I am devouring chess books. Download it. Buy a book, and see for yourself. I have it on my iPad, my Android phone, and my Windows PC, and split my reading amount these devices almost evenly.
Is there a way to store e-books that you already have from your folder to this app? Do we always have to purchase the books from the store?
I love this app! It has taken the tedium out of reading chess books with a standard chess board. I was tempted to give the rating four stars only because it lacks the ability to export books as pgns, but this is not really their fault as the publishers would not agree to this. I've written to Forward Chess recommending some improvements, and they responded right away. This app is wonderful, and will only get better as they add new features.
i purchase a book through android app. The book load up in the app but asked me to purchase it again when i visit the website. The problem lies with the purchase book not loading up in the website. Can you help me? I am pleased that my problem was solved. They replied to my email within one day. "FAST" Forward chess.
I like that books are accessible from the cloud and thus can be downloaded to both Android and Apple apps. Not available in Gambit Chess Studio.
I have bought a book but it's not downloading!!!! Fix this I wasted so much money and now u guys are not letting me download
Fantastic app for chess improvement. Would be better if can provide some classical books like John Nunn's Middlegame books etc
It is good but if theri is import book option and we can but any book from out side and read then it will be good
This is the best way to study chess books. As you play through the lines in games/ problems, the program can instantly return you to the point in the game where the line began. (I can almost never remember where the pieces were at the start of a line, which was very aggravating and time consuming. ) The only shortcoming here is that not all chess books are available in this format.
Diagrams on a chess book i bought doesn't display right-thereby makes it difficult to read anything in that book!(Hope it will be fixed!
The issues I initially had with the cloud are now fixed, the team is pretty responsive, so far the app works as advertised. Appreciate the idea of presenting the books this way.
