Nice idea, find actual hands from outside sources and bid them. That is, until you try to find a game to play. Spent 10 minutes scrolling thru club websites and found nothing usable to play. UNINSTALLED - worthless.
Works really well. Clean, precise, does everything I want and nothing else. Pianola integration is especially awesome.
Ok but I had hoped it would show the correct data when a teams match is played. It does show 2 sets of boards with board 1 showing twice as I would expect but it shows the same players in both sets.
It sounds simple enough, but I spent some time without success looking for Bridge software for PC which could do just one thing: input any hand manually and then play all hands completely manually in multiple different ways, including on different contracts (even bad/unlikely contracts) and including playing any hand “badly” (ie player doing the "wrong" thing). Even when speaking with people selling Bridge software for PC either the software could not do this or they did not know for sure whether it could. Then I looked at Android Bridge apps, not having much hope since apps are often less capable than PC software. Sure enough the more fancied Bridge apps still couldn’t do this one thing. Then I found Bridge Solver. And it could do this one thing exactly as I wanted! At last!! I needed help with selecting a card on my Android screen (my fingers are too big), but I have a stylus now and it all works brilliantly. Oh, and yes, the other features of Bridge Solver (in conjunction with being able to do this one thing) help me to learn and improve at Bridge greatly! Well done and thank you to John Goacher.
A must for every keen bridge player with analytical mind. I added my top sites to the Favorites. This leads me to my favourite result pages in a matter of seconds. Wouldn't be without it .
This might not be the prettiest app, but it's amazing. Functionalaity is fantastic, does everything you want it to and then some. Great options for importing online boards or sessions.
