The correct walkthrough is easy to find on YouTube. I did have to use it a couple of times but not much. Good puzzles and graphics. Pop up ads in the middle of game causing accidental tapping on it and going out of game was a bit annoying. But for a good free game I don't mind too much.
Would be a great game if it was a longer free game and if it had hints rather then always having to watch the video and if it wasn't necessary to have sound
I dunno about this - i needed to watch the walk through - but it looks like it doesn't follow the actual game. The graphics are nice though.
Love it, Nice game, but I found that walkthrough in tha game is of changed game design or something, real walkthrough video can found on the novice game facebook page link is in the main menu Facebook button.
once downloaded you can't get past the game start screen.swithces itself from game to phone home screen.
It's seems that there is something wrong with the game there is no nob on the banister and you cannot go up around the right stairs/hallway. Cannot proceed any further because of this. The game is quite different from the walkthrough?
It's cool at the start bit when I go to save it, it delete the whole game that I've completed which is annoying cause then I start all over again
The game has some serious bugs... I reached a point where I tapped every single point in every accessible area without any progress. So I sought help and I discovered that the piano should give you a key, well guess what! There's no key... so there is no way to advance! also when you choose to continue your game the hints don't work...
The walkthrough appears to be more refined, prettied up and complete. Some task in the walkthrough have been changed or omited, and then replaced with an alternative way to gain the item needed (and shows the alternative way as well)... Then I thought, there might be 2 versions of the game.? Was still disappointed at the abruptly ending after completing the dice.. "to be continued" so, it's not a full game .. But still an interesting game.. even though the walkthrough becomes your best buddy for it..
It was difficult at first trying to figure out every move with guidance from the narrator but I already finish it at the very end. It says to be continued. All we need is have a huge patience in playing this game.
It'd be a nice game if it worked according to the walkthrough. Looks like two different game designs. Can't get to other hallway, or into downstairs door on the right. Rooms in video don't match up w the game. Very poor design. Very disappointed.
I got the key from the piano after multiple tries, and following a walkthrough, but then it got stuck. I tried using the key where I thought it went, and no response. It didn't even say I couldn't use the key for that particular door. I really though it sounded interesting, but it's just a big mess!
Great idea, appealing but a lot of bugs, needs better clues and or a hint button. The game got to a certain point and wouldn't work anymore.
Could be an ok game. It does not respond like it shows in the walk through. Too many clicks to do each action.
You can't get to half of the places shown in the walkthru. Not surprising since there's another game called mystery tales book of evil that looks like the same game just different company.
I like that this game is more complex than escape games where you navigate one room at a time. It also has great graphics. Unfortunately, those are the only strong qualities of this game. It is easy to get stuck. Some key items are in very obscure locations. The storyline is poorly thought out. The ending is extremely abrupt, and anticlimactic. What a letdown! I don't recommend this one.
This is about the dumbest game ever no way to save the game and the graphics ard so bad you can hardly find anything. So irritating.
